Associations are a unique blend of volunteer and paid staff, coming together to create value for their members. Typically leadership changes yearly, so goals, ideas and relationships will change to reflect that. This can pose a particular challenge for staff as they readjust to current leadership.

Leadership skills can be developed and are sometimes not readily found with the volunteer members serving within their Association. Marilou works in several different capacities within the association, including, but not limited to the following:

  • Individual and Group Coaching for current Leadership Team
  • Leadership Workshops for Incoming Chairs, Vice-Chairs and Board of Directors Staff Coaching
  • The DISC Leadership Assessment Tool when appropriate
